This is my favorite market!! It's stocked with plenty of fresh veggies and their deli has many yummy selections. 100% would come back. And the best part was there were several things on the menu that looked delicious so I'm ready to try more!
So disappointed in the downward direction, this once amazing market has taken. It used to have much higher end foods, catered much more to vegetarians and true health fooders. They did away with all the great vegetarian soups and so many other natural food choices. There were so many interesting and fun things in store. Now it's just more like a regular market. Frankly, I don't go to this store exclusively anymore. I stop in at Albertsons. They have more interesting salad combinations and lots of natural foods. Sprouts is not too bad either. Mothers has lost its touch and ambience. Actually boring to shop there now with less interesting choices. The description and reputation of this store is very different from what's described.
They don't seem to care about their staff or customers. I was initially impressed on the extra safety measures Mothers were using to protect their customers and staff from Cvid 19. I went there yesterday and they were allowing customers to shop without masks. The same customers were not social distancing and I had to keep dodging them. This is no longer a safe place for high risk groups to shop.
I had to pick up several supplements in the vitamin section at Mother’s in Santa Ana today. A friendly clerk named Chris asked if I needed help. He proceeded to find my supplements and suggest better choices. He was so competent. I was impressed with his knowledge of the ingredients and usage of the different vitamins. That young man is an asset to your market. I appreciate his outstanding service.
I'm disgusted and sad about this final straw. I have loved shopping at mothers regardless of how over priced it is. I figured if you want all the gluten free and dairy free options, you've got to pay to keep this business available. A few bad fruits, a few dessert sold already expired, a box of tea bags with only 6 instead 16 bags...yikes. This takes the cake and has caused me to terminate my shopping relationship. I bought this sauce last sun, cooked it and started eating it. It expired 10 years ago!! Does your company value selling fresh food or giving the appears of plenty of options. I emailed their corporate to find out if they would even care, but they didn't. Good bye mothers market.
