Came in to eat tacos here. Large tacos come with a good amount of meat but lack flavor. Buche was just flavorless and asada also needed a better taste.

Come here on the regular for pan dulce. The quality and taste is good, definitely the reason for coming back. Don’t like the chicharrón, it’s not as crispy and tasty like those from Jalisco. Overall price is little high, but it’s a small place.

I’ll never go anywhere else. I found this spot a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with their selections. About a year or less ago though, I started going to the newly opened North Gate Market in Costa Mesa because it’s like 5 minutes from my house and La Reina is farther about 30-40 minutes drive but honestly.. I resent shopping for my groceries at NorthGate. I’ve tried so many of their selections especially all of their salsas and everything is honestly so disappointing and bland at NorthGate. La Reina’s has the best salsa and quality meat selection let alone the fact that everything is super fresh. The employees are patient, kind and so so so welcoming too!

I love the Mexican bread here and used to love the tortillas but the quality is no longer there…. I bought corn and flour tortillas and could not use them since they would just crack and break.. even while warming them up. Then they refused to take them back because of the cracks but it is the reason I had to take them back…because they crack !

After watching videos on social media, I was excited to experience the raved carnitas tacos. Unfortunately, my excitement turned into disappointment as I opened my carnitas taco. We eat with our eyes first and this taco was the worst carnitas tacos I’ve ever seen.The meat was so unpleasant to even look at, undercooked and colorless. Not that toasty color we all love. I can’t believe they have the nerve to even serve this quality of food to someone. They should have told us the meat was still being cooked and there was a wait time and we would have waited. Clearly they didn’t care to serve undercooked meat to their customers. Shame on you for not following Servsafe guidelines.
