I bought a box of their Rio Rancho Tostada Bowls at Walmart. When I took a bite, I had to throw it into the trash. The taste was nasty and you could tell it was stale, even though the expiration on the box showed 01/10/21. I'll never buy from this company again.
This was the third time I purchased a box of Rio Rancho Tostada Bowels, distributed by Smokewood Foods, Co. The current box is dated "Best by 04/24/18." As with the previous two boxes the bowls were so stale as to be inedible. I took two bites from one bowl and threw the box in the trash, just like before. It is amazing that so many other companies can package tortilla chips that remain crisp and tasty until opened, but this company can't seem to do the same. A complete waste of money.
I just bought the Rio Rancho Tostada Bowls. They were both tiny and stale, even though the Best By date was in 2017. See photo. I've bought these in the past and they weren't so small. It should warn on the box. "These are for children. No adult's hunger will be satisfied by one of these."
I got 4 boxes and for Christmas and all 4 boxes are stale and they are not exspired until next year so y'all need to fix this right now
