It's convenient having a Starbucks inside this Albertsons when I have to do some shopping before I start my day. Although a little pricey, this store is usually well stocked with meat and produce in good condition. The fresh produce is not that much more expensive than anywhere else but it is in good condition and there's a decent variety. This Albertsons has the only rotisserie chicken that is not oversalted and rubbery so I don't mind paying a few dollars more for that. It's the shelf stable things that cost the most for some reason, like a tiny box of unflavored gelatin cost nearly $5. Avoid those things and this is pretty good store to get the basics from.

Worst experience. Im going back to stater brothers up the street. I waited in the grocery line for over 20 minutes. Two registers open and the line was stretching half way thru the store. I went to ask the cashier.. please can you open another.. she said.. tooo bad corporate cut us. Sure she voiced to someone.. customers are staring to complain..10 minutes later another register finally opens and evryone behind me cuts me off and rushes to them. Im thinking okay. I have 2 people ahead of me with massive haul but whatever. Well that customer proceedes to start complaining about her coupons and that they are attached to her vons account and it becomes a whole thing to the point that the casgier leaves the register to ask someone what she can do about it.. and this customer is like ..." oh i feel bad im holding up the line.." but not really cus shes clearly continuing to hild up the line... now everyone who was behind me is out there door. My ICECREAMS MELTING... ive been respectfully voicing how ridiculous this all is.. and the customer has little to no shame cus shes comtinuing to tell the cashier to go get someome to fix the coupon thing.. 30 minutes later in line and i voice that im leaving. I left my food and all the cashiers watched and didnt say a thing. Nobody apologized. Nobody pulled me from behind that ridiculous customer with the coupon issue and said.. let me get you right here. And its funny cus I used to shop at Stater bros and thought I really like the bigger parking lot at albertsons ill start going there.. nope. Thats done. I went to stater bros immediately after. Got all the same items. I did that all within 15 min or less.

Horrible experience. A guy, Nick, helped me at the meat counter and I asked him to weigh out a bone-in rib roast. He tried to charge me for boneless price (2x the price). I explained it had bones in it and he refused to give me the bone-in price because he grabbed the roast from behind boneless roasts. I told him he could feel and see the bones and he said he didn’t know what to tell me and started raising his voice. Very weird. It was the best looking roast and the best size for what I was looking for but this guy didn’t want to admit he made a mistake I guess?

Yesterday my mom came across two of the most comfortable employees as she was coming into check out. The lady and guy who bag the stuff were SO comfortable telling each other when my mom started coming, "oh god, she's coming" because her cart had a lot of groceries, clearly expressing how much they 'love' customers. My mom comes there often but this was the first time she came across Winifred Sanderson and bag "ugh I have to work" boy who thinks it's okay to actually complain that they have to do their job, AND get an attitude if the customer has a cart full of groceries.
Serious question. These are the kind of people you hire? People who can't even keep their complaints to themselves, who love talking bad about customers, and have a complete attitude.

Came for dill today. No luck. Always out of something. Just go to stater bros across the street. You’ll probably have to make a second stop anyway. Had to do it at least 5 times in the last year, I’m over it.
