Great products and older employees stocking the shelves 👏. If only their colleagues would keep that same work ethic. Cashier and baggers were just talking nonsense to each other and I'm sorry does the bagger just get paid to stand there?? Or does he get paid to bag the groceries cause I'm not sure what's the point of him being employed just looking.
Took him our whole long transaction to finish one bag when there's 5 that need to be done.
But staring, looking, and chit chatting is what they get paid for? Just pay the customers at this point. Those young boys have no work ethic or manners at all. No customer service at all at the register might as well install only self checkout. Do better.

This review is strictly for the lady on number 9 8:35pm on friday. Susan E? I've been coming to this ralphs for half a decade and she's the nicest employee in the store hands down. Genuinely friendly, attentive, and an active listener. I would wait in line just to go down her isle.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my father. My father went to Ralph's early in the morning (7am) to purchase groceries for our family. When it came to check out, unfortunately there were no registers open. There were two cashiers at the front end and no one, I mean no one wanted to take the time to open up a register to ring him up. They literally forced him to check himself at self checkout. Yet there were other families who had two shopping carts full of food and they were also forced to self checkout because no one wanted to open up a register. It's sad to know two employees ignored everyone on wanting to be checked out at a register and preferred to "mind there own business". It's sad to know the employees at Ralph's would disrespect a senior citizen like my father. I have to admit this Ralph's store is not what it used to be, especially when the employees didn't give a crap anymore.

Friday June 27th, pick up ~445pm. I don’t recommend curbside at this location. The guy who brought out my groceries just threw them in my car with no regard for what was in each bag, (chips, yogurt, fruit) and on top of that my pizza box was ripped open. I also got a notification that one of the chips I got on a 4 for $10 deal was out of stock and they “couldn’t find a suitable replacement” even though I said replacements were fine and I ordered 4 different flavors. You’re telling me that these were the last 3 bags of chips you had in the store?!?! I got charged $3.99 a bag when I should have gotten 4 for $10. When I asked the guy what was going on, he just kept saying he wasn’t the one that shopped the order and I’d have to go inside, to which I explained I had my dog with me which is why I did curbside. It’s too hot outside to leave him in the car and if I did he’d eat all my groceries! My lettuce had a best by date of July 2nd and it was brown and squishy and my yogurt had a puncture hole. I called in and asked to speak to a manager who was super rude and he finally agreed to give me 2 bags of chips to make up for the money I lost, which is better than nothing, but now I have 5 bags of chips. I didn’t really even need 4, I was just getting them to save the money! Manager said he’d bring the chips right out with the pizza that was ripped open, but he just sent out the employee who originally brought out the order. I told him thank you for his help and have a good day and he didn’t say a single word and just walked away. Not one person apologized for the inconvenience or acknowledged why I was frustrated. They made me feel like I should have just shut up and overpaid so they can sit back and take it easy even though they were the ones who messed up my order. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
Update: I went to a different Ralph’s and learned it is not standard practice for them to mark the order as complete and give you the receipt BEFORE they even come to the car or ask you if you have any coupons. They’re purposely trying to inconvenience the customer by forcing them inside to address errors, even though it’s curbside and they should address it BEFORE billing the transaction! Terrible store and managers!
