If you value your life, or your loved ones, dont EVER go here. This hospital is ill equipped and none of the staff here seem to know what theyre doing. The new "billionaire" owner could care less of the patients they are caring for, as this is all a front to make profit for his pockets.
We were here for an emergency at 9 AM. They then transferred us to a room around 1 PM. None of the staff on that floor seemed to know what they were doing. They didnt hook up any monitors to our mom who was clearly showing signs of a potential HEART ATTACK. And nothing but the run around that a Doctor is on the way. What happens? There is no doctor. They didnt have any doctors available and no one was coming, so their plan was to keep her overnight until they can get a doctor in. We requested for an MRI and that took forever. When the MRI tech finally came in, even he said "why would you even take her here?" Even the tech knows this place is the wrong place for an emergency. Oh, and the supervisor was not happy when he said that.
We had enough of the bullshit and the games and asked for an EMTALA which they were pushing back on and gave us bullshit reasons as to why they cant do it. So we said just discharge our mom now and we'll take her elsewhere. The supervisor didnt know what to do and was constantly calling her boss, who was not on site, on how to handle the situation. Like they couldn't make decisions without the boss' permission. So they ended up saying they'd discharge our mom as long as we sign an AMA - basically freeing themselves from any responsibility that happens to our mom. So we signed it immediately to get our mom to proper care. Upon exiting we called paramedics to take her to the St. Joseph's.
Heres the kicker - we find out from the paramedics that Chapman Global Medical Center is that they lost their paramedic certifications. Which is why they were giving us the bullshit as to why they cant do the EMTALA (basically a mandate for hospitals to transfer a patient to another hospital). Once the paramedics showed up, all of a sudden the supervisor is apologetic - trying to save face. And she even said to report the owner because he's really at fault for all of this due to him depriving them of the supplies they need to properly care.
If you value your life and health, dont go here. Just look up the owner himself. Dr Kali P Chaudhuri. History of not paying physicians. Thats why they dont have doctors here.
Thanks for wasting our time and potentially endangering our mom's life when it didnt need to be. The competence here is terrible.

I had rotator cuff surgery at this hospital and from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out the service was awesome. The staff was attentive, patient and caring. I felt well informed of what the next steps were and completely at ease before my surgery. I was given post surgery care instructions and had an overall excellent experience here. My surgeon was Dr. Chueng and I wish I could remember the nurses names and anesthesiologist name but they were all great and I would highly recommend. I'm now 10 months post op and feeling great!

Avoid this place.
The ER was OK, and the OR was good, but once I got admitted, the hospital was terrible. Except they didn’t call in my prescription like they said they would.. said the doctor was gone, maybe tomorrow (the day I got released). The staff was awful, would have to keep asking for simple things like water and updates on my surgery. I never got any updates; they kept saying they didn’t know when the surgeon might show up. I asked for the Charge Nurse, they said they didn’t have one. The place looks old and dirty. The toiler and window were leaking. Sometimes they updated the board in my room, but only on the last day of my 3 days admitted. I could hear them talking about other patients. The MIR tech made a comment about a nurse we passed.. how her hair was so sexy, but her face was (and make a gross noise). I mentioned that I hadn’t eaten in days, and it seems he took me back a different way on purpose, thru the kitchen area, wasn’t shorter. The place seems like its days from being shut down. When I left, I just walked out, which I was thankful for.. but was surprised since they I just had surgery around 1pm, walked out around 5pm; I said I had a ride but then just got an uber after I realized it was too painful to walk the 20mins home. I could keep going.. this place is terrible and probably should not be opperational.

I had an excellent experience during my stay at the Chapman Hilton.
Grace and Miji were wonderful when receiving me after I was transferred from Hoag Emergency—they made the entire process smooth and comforting.
Michael was an exceptionally attentive nurse and provided outstanding care during my first two days. Bien, Ariel, Charmaine and Rayan were also exceptional and consistently made sure I was comfortable and supported.
The doctors and nurses worked together seamlessly to help me recover. Thank you Doc Nguyen! And doc Ak. I highly recommend this facility and sincerely appreciate the entire team for their dedication and professionalism.

My dad was sent here (senior mental care unit) for ten days and the staff took extremely good care of him. Google’s low ratings scared me, but when I learned how senior mental care units work, I realized this group are professionals and experts.
Their nurses were kind and caring. I appreciated that the most. Their nurse supervisor (title?) Michael M was an angel and helped me get through these highly stressful ten days.
I know this type of facility may unnerve family members, especially if it’s the first time, but I’d like to send the staff a big thanks for doing their utmost.
