This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived around 2:30am to check in after a long day of travel, only to find out that an employee had completely messed up the reservations. Apparently, another guest had the same last name as us, and the hotel gave our room away to them. Then they turned around and gave us the room that was already occupied by those guests.
When we first walked into the room, I thought housekeeping had simply forgotten to clean it because the room smelled disgusting and there was even a condom wrapper left behind. It was absolutely disgusting. Then we realized the people were actually STILL checked into the room. Imagine if we had walked in while they were inside sleeping. Completely unacceptable and honestly a huge safety/privacy issue.
I immediately called the front desk because I was furious. To their credit, the employee helping my husband downstairs was extremely apologetic and kind. They ended up canceling our original reservation, creating a completely new booking, upgrading us to a suite, and giving us a discounted rate. I truly appreciated how professional and apologetic he was during the situation because he was the only positive part of this experience.
That being said, the hotel itself is very outdated. The suite looked decent at first glance, but the doors were literally falling off the hinges. On top of that, this hotel is EXTREMELY noisy. If you don’t have children, I would honestly avoid staying here. We were woken up around 7am by all the noise throughout the hotel.
I understand this is a family hotel near Disneyland, but after this experience, I will never stay here again. We booked this hotel because we wanted something close to our friend’s wedding venue, and it turned out to be a huge mistake.

The room was great and very comfortable. The only thing of concern was a very weird smell coming from somewhere in the room. The first room we were put in looked great but smelled like vomit. The front desk staff were so nice to relocate us to another room with no extra charge. The second room was still very nice but still an odd less potent smell coming from somewhere in the room. Overall a very comfortable stay and very accommodating staff. Shuttle to Disney was convenient and breakfast in the morning has great options available.

After traveling all day they wouldn’t let me into my prepaid room for over an hour and a half. My family had reserved 3 rooms total but my Dad couldn’t make the trip. His room wasn’t used at all and was nonrefundable (understandable). What didn’t make sense was to still charge us for the rooms we were there to use but not allow us to use them. Aside from that. The elevator was broken, there was trash all over the floor everywhere (hallways and common areas) most of the breakfast machines were broken or not refilled. I had the “suite” and have slept on better mattresses at motel 6. The mattress was so shot it sunk in the middle. And the staff probably shouldn’t be in customer service as it’s not really their strong suit (no smiles. I can see why the desk clerk didn’t want to look me in the eye while he screwed me and my family but still… maybe if you had better business practices you wouldn’t have to shy away from direct and respectful communication.)

This was our first time trying this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and hotel layout and have now made this our 1st choice when visiting the area. The hotel was sold out because of the holiday and college graduations, but handled it very well. Breakfast was very busy, but the staff kept the food coming (eggs were excellent) and sitting in the courtyard was very relaxing.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay close to Disney and the beaches. The rooms were nice and a good place to stay if you mostly are showering and sleeping. Could use some updating the carpets are old, one of the elevators was broken as well as an ice machine, the main elevator in the lobby is pretty old and some of the tiles are broken. Could also use to be cleaned better the shower and sink were pretty dirty and we found some ants and fruit flies in our room. Breakfast was good and had a nice selection. It was very convenient to use the shuttles to get to Disney. I would definitely stay here again but it does need a few repairs and renovations.
