Close to Old Towne, eh - sort of. Close to Chapman...a 30 minute walk, but quick drive.
Saving money: absolutely not! Not a budget motel, very pricey considering it is quite bare-bones.
From the shabby-chic appearance, to the mishaps at the front desk - to very few amenities...I should have stayed at a different location -- which I have, when in Orange - & this place isn't worth the $$. WAY nicer spots for $10 more (OR Less!) per night...and it can get noisy. From scuffs, to dirt, to loose bathroom tiles - the room we stayed in was trash. Judge from our photos...even the sheets on the bed had no fitted sheet, just a top sheet that was too short!
Definitely avoid this spot during hot weather...the AC units are janky, and are not on until YOU come into a hot-oven room and turn it on...just for it to cool down a day later. No cover on the AC, with dust all over the fan.
It's definitely 'rough' - with a fixed up in a very slap-dash appearance.
From having a faulty key card, to no lock on the interior part of door, no fire alarm, front desk being virtually unavailable...and a musty room - I won't be back. Not worth it. Also...code violations much??

Place is awesome. Had a paranormal experience though, so quick ghost story i got the room ay 11:30pm went straight to the shower. I heard screaming at my bathroom window. I opened it and it was dead silent. The restroom got freezing cold. So I closed it, it was creepy. 5 minutes after I started to puke, I was sick all night until 3am. I woke up because my TV went loud. I turned it down glanced at my shirt hanging up. And from the reflection of the mirror my shirt looked like someone standing there. None the less this place is awesome and staff are great too.

Not a bargain and stinks!
What do you get when you toss in furnishings from a garage sale, ignore broken fixtures & warped bathroom tiling, overcharge customers...this place!
Avoid if you like quiet nights, clean rooms, and decent accommodations.

One of the better places to stay in OC that is cheap with great service. Barebones room and amenities. Rooms are insulated pretty good.

FRAUD ALERT. I gave them my credit card to reserve a room. On arrival I decided to pay cash. They decided to charge my credit card as well. The lady at the front desk probably took my cash and put it in her pocket. I just seen another review where they did something similar. They will be getting some phone calls very soon from a fraud investigator . Be aware of this hotel.
