Happy with delivery service but in-store staff is not trained on how to accept insurance provided grocery credit cards and in combination with EBT card. The clerk ended up asking for my debit card and not applying the grocery card taking my needed cash out of my bank and leaving balance on grocery card. Also I would use delivery but the Ralph's app won't accept grocery card online forcing me to go to the store where ad stated above my transaction was done incorrectly, very disappointing.

Friday June 27th, pick up ~445pm. I don’t recommend curbside at this location. The guy who brought out my groceries just threw them in my car with no regard for what was in each bag, (chips, yogurt, fruit) and on top of that my pizza box was ripped open. I also got a notification that one of the chips I got on a 4 for $10 deal was out of stock and they “couldn’t find a suitable replacement” even though I said replacements were fine and I ordered 4 different flavors. You’re telling me that these were the last 3 bags of chips you had in the store?!?! I got charged $3.99 a bag when I should have gotten 4 for $10. When I asked the guy what was going on, he just kept saying he wasn’t the one that shopped the order and I’d have to go inside, to which I explained I had my dog with me which is why I did curbside. It’s too hot outside to leave him in the car and if I did he’d eat all my groceries! My lettuce had a best by date of July 2nd and it was brown and squishy and my yogurt had a puncture hole. I called in and asked to speak to a manager who was super rude and he finally agreed to give me 2 bags of chips to make up for the money I lost, which is better than nothing, but now I have 5 bags of chips. I didn’t really even need 4, I was just getting them to save the money! Manager said he’d bring the chips right out with the pizza that was ripped open, but he just sent out the employee who originally brought out the order. I told him thank you for his help and have a good day and he didn’t say a single word and just walked away. Not one person apologized for the inconvenience or acknowledged why I was frustrated. They made me feel like I should have just shut up and overpaid so they can sit back and take it easy even though they were the ones who messed up my order. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
Update: I went to a different Ralph’s and learned it is not standard practice for them to mark the order as complete and give you the receipt BEFORE they even come to the car or ask you if you have any coupons. They’re purposely trying to inconvenience the customer by forcing them inside to address errors, even though it’s curbside and they should address it BEFORE billing the transaction! Terrible store and managers!

I visited your store in Orange CA on Chapman and Main on 02/12/26 around 10pm and I just had the WORST experience with one of your employees there. I was in the self check out and the lady working there was completely rude to me, embarrassed me in front of everyone, be littled me, and at the end of it I left the store in complete tears! I couldn’t believe you have someone that treats people like this working for you while on the job! I was completely speechless from how horrible this lady treated me, and humiliated me! It was so horrible that im literally never returning to this location again because I don’t want the chance of seeing this lady and having her treat me like that again! You need to rethink about the people you hire or have them go through a customer service class or something because this lady has ZERO customer service skills and should never speak to ANY customer let alone any person like that EVER!! Even the security guard ran out to apologize to me for how to treated me and spoke to me! And told me how I did nothing wrong and even he said he couldn’t believe how she treated me!! You need to do something about her ASAP because that was COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY!!! And it also made you lose a loyal customer for life!!
