The room was shabby; chewed corners on the tables, dinosaur television and old, stained carpets. The bathroom sink was etched on the bottom, which caught every bit of scum and waste, the bathroom door didn't catch and the sink was slow. The bathtub was badly stained. The carpet in the hallways is old, stained and odorous. The "on-the-go" breakfast is misleading. Just packets of various flavored oatmeal and small, packaged muffins.
The clientele varies. Among them are business people, vacationers and construction workers. It should be understood that some people live there as in all extended stay hotels like retirees and some disabled people. The apartment and access doors are secure, it's in a safe area and I noticed that police are almost always present at a nearby Starbucks, so in my opinion, it's safe.
There is ample parking. The staff is friendly and attentive. The laundry room is pristine with new washers and dryers for a fair price. You can use your debit/credit card in them, which is a plus, however, if your old school, you can use quarters too.
Would I recommend it to a friend? Not right now. The price per night, which is comparable to standard motels/hotels that offer daily services, is too much. If it was updated and the prices kept reasonable, yes.

Extended Stay America looked at our booking order with a nonchalant look. They just said that there was nothing we could do about it because we didn't have a room. Their attitude was very bad and they didn't want to help me at all. It seemed that was not their fault ! I’m so angry so we had no choice and I called one by one to inquire about the available rooms for that night. The worst hotel booking experience when traveling to the United States. Please don’t book this hotel. It will ruin your good mood for the whole day.

This Extended Stay in Orange is nice overall, comfortable and well-located so you get great value for the nightly or in our case weekly price. The staff is very friendly, professional, courteous and helpful when you need something, such as supplies for your suite. It's located near Angel Stadium and the Honda Center, just east of the 57 Orange Freeway.

I was supposed to stay at this location for 2 nights while working in the area. I didn't spend more than 30 minutes in the room before deciding to leave. Bed was uncomfortable, furniture had tears & scratches. Stains in the carpet bad enough that I didn't want to walk on the carpet barefoot. You couldn't tell if the tub was dirty or if it was the pattern/texture of the tub. What made me leave was when I went to put something into the fridge and found the previous guests left overs in the fridge. If housekeeping can't even clean out the fridge, what else are they NOT doing to clean the room?
Needless to say, I decided to commute 90 minutes each direction for the 2 days instead of staying 5 minutes away and never returned to this hotel. Some of my co-workers did the same.
