Extremely disappointing experience and even worse follow-up
We stayed at Embassy Suites Anaheim Orange during an extremely hot weekend and unfortunately had a very poor experience.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning in our room. Despite having the thermostat set to 60°, the room remained extremely warm and uncomfortable. We reported the problem multiple times and maintenance eventually came to the room, but the issue was never adequately resolved. We have videos and temperature readings documenting the conditions.
What was especially frustrating was the lack of any meaningful accommodation while we were there. We gave the hotel multiple opportunities to address the problem, but instead spent a significant portion of our stay dealing with an uncomfortable room and trying to get help.
The way the situation has been handled afterward has been just as disappointing. We were originally told by the hotel that because we booked through Hotels.com, a refund would need to be handled through them. Since returning home, we have repeatedly attempted to contact hotel management to discuss what happened. Our calls and messages have gone unanswered.
Hotels.com has provided some partial credits and the parking charges were ultimately removed, which we appreciate. However, our primary issue is with the hotel itself and how the situation was handled both during and after our stay.
Problems can happen at any hotel. What matters is how management responds when they do. We gave this property numerous opportunities to address our concerns, and at this point we can’t even get management to return our calls.
For a Hilton-branded property, we expected considerably better service and accountability. Based on our experience, we would not stay at this location again.

This hotel is good if you want to visit and explore Anaheim. It has decent breakfast and 2 pools. On outdoor and one indoor. The indoor pool is smaller and heated but the outdoor pool is cold and non heated. There is a hot tub as well but when my family and I were using it on the second day the jets stopped working. The rooms were decent but the handle on the shower was a little loose. There was no handle on the inside of the shower which made it a little hard to close. If your looking for an embassy suites to stay cation pick the one in La Jolla as it is a little better than this one. But for location this hotel is good because it is near angel stadium and Disneyland.

Stayed here for a couple of days with our family of 4. Not sure why the ratings for this hotel are so high. When walking in, the hotel feels nice, but when taking a closer look at the room, there is a lot to be desired.
Location is great - close to the freeway, walking distance to the angels stadium and golden road brewing. Breakfast was fine (Omelette was the best part) and rooms are spacious. Those are about all of the good things.
Beds were SOOOOO uncomfortable and tiny. We had th4 suite with 2 double beds and a couch bed. My youngest son stayed on the couch bed which seemed to be bigger than the double bed in the main bedroom. You can feel all the springs in the double beds and even more in the couch bed. These beds need to be switched out to new ones! I seriously couldn’t believe how uncomfortable the beds were.
Many updates need to be done to this hotel to make it better.

Karissa at the front desk was so kind and professional! She treated us so well as diamond members. She upgraded us to the family suite and also gave us a very good rate the next night because we wanted to extend! The hotel is nice and has a shuttle to Disneyland. It wasn’t running in the morning we went so they got us a Lyft. Very great service!

I have been experiencing ongoing issues with my room for the past two days. The refrigerator, microwave, and several lamps have not been working, and I reported these problems on the first day. Unfortunately, they still have not been resolved.
In addition, housekeeping did not service my room today. As a Hilton Honors member, I am very disappointed with the level of service and the lack of follow-up regarding these concerns.
I chose Hilton because I expect a certain standard of comfort and customer service. Having multiple amenities not working for two days, after already reporting them, along with missing housekeeping service, has made my stay very frustrating.
I would appreciate someone addressing these issues immediately and providing an appropriate resolution for the inconvenience I have experienced during my stay.
