My son was treated here. He hurt himself in basketball tournament and this was closest. The staff was very good.. I was so nervous being in a different city and reading all the reviews. The hospital could use some remodeling cause old hospitals scare me. Other than that very good. The staff was kind, attentive and fast as possible even being as busy as it was. Thank you everyone for all your hard and caring work!😃

I’ve been a patient at Chapman Global Medical Center’s Subacute Unit for nearly a decade. I remember when care here came with heart — the nurses and CNAs treated us like people, not tasks. That changed after 2024.
One moment still sits heavy on me: a nurse — one of the truly caring ones — had stopped by to listen as I was going through a rough time. Just minutes later, as she passed my room in the hallway, the charge nurse stopped her and said firmly, “Don’t you forget about what was discussed in our staff meeting.” My nurse looked back at me with a sad expression and quietly said, “I have to leave now.”
Since that meeting, everything has shifted. Staff now seem pressured to rush from task to task, barely making eye contact, clearly trying not to “run” down the halls — it's ridiculous. The compassion that once made this place feel human has been replaced by stress, fear, and urgency without understanding.
Patients like me are not numbers. We are people who notice, who feel, and who remember when care used to mean something. I sincerely hope leadership takes accountability before more is lost. They have put $profits above Care!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Don’t come here. I was only here because there was a mix up in my insurance. I was here on Christmas morning for my gallbladder stones, to which I was told I was going to have a surgery to remove them. However, that was not the case. I stayed 3 days after completely unattended, was told the doctors didn’t know what to do and the supervisor in ICU was being so rude about visiting hours and refusing to let my wife stay with me on Christmas night. The staff kept telling me that they were trying to figure out what to do, get in contact with doctor and the surgeon. The surgeon “came to see me” and then left? The staff was looking for my chart and had lost it? Very unprofessional, kept me waiting in pain and hadn’t eaten in 3 days due to the “surgeon coming to prep me.” Don’t come here. My wife finally discharged me because she refuse to let them attend me and got me to UCI where in 1 hour they did much more. Global took 3 days.

I had an outpatient rotator cuff surgery on Weds Feb 5th, from the moment my wife and I walked in at 5:50am the staff could not have been nicer. From the receptionist to the lab worker to my intake nurse everyone was incredibly friendly. But, my surgery team was amazing!! Brandon, Genesis, Jonathan and Dr. Nihn were absolutely brilliant. Thank you all for making my experience amazing 🙏🦾

I recommended it they actually help me out with my problems not even saint joseph hospital couldn’t help me . Dr Hashemi , Ibish, and the nurses where great . Thank you all the staff . And also the social worker
